SOUND SHAPES — A Night in Motion

SOUND SHAPES is a contemporary visual communication project that explores how abstract form, space, and motion can be translated into a cohesive event identity. The project culminates in a series of promotional applications designed for a live music event staged at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore.

At its core, the concept draws inspiration from the relationship between sound and geometry — where rhythm, tone, and movement are expressed through soft 3D forms. Rounded cylinders, curved elements, cubes, and spheres act as visual metaphors for musical beats, flow, and variation. The use of pastel gradients and smooth textures creates a calm yet dynamic atmosphere, reflecting music that is immersive rather than aggressive.
